We offer a whole house rental. You can preserve your privacy and stay here comfortably.

“Kuroshio-no-ie" is about a 6-minute walk away from Tosa-irino Station.

It is a single-story house in a peaceful area where you can hear the sound of waves, and birds singing. 20 years have passed since the house was used as an inn, and it has reopened for a limited period of 5 years. We will also try to work on artist-in-residence programs.

Kuroshio-no-ie was taken over by a woman who ran an inn named “Yuyu” with her husband 20 years ago. One day, she sent a message to a woman who is known to work energetically with local people. She hoped to entrust the house to the woman, and sent her the following heartfelt message, "Enjoy your life with the house and use it as you like."

We hope that this house will create connections between people, and everyone will have a great time enjoying their life here. Now, we have started it again!

黒潮の家には、6畳の和室が２間ありますので、お部屋を分けてお休みいただくことができます。襖を開けて続き間として広々とご使用頂くことも可能です。畳にごろんと寝転ぶと、つい数時間経ってしまうくらい気持ちのいい空間です。

木造平家の3DK（和室２部屋、洋室１部屋、ダイニングキッチン）。ゆったりとした間取りで全ての部屋に窓があり光に溢れています。

壁や襖がバランスよく配置されていますので、１０名ほどでご利用頂いてもプライバシーを保ちながら、それぞれの空間でくつろいでいただくことができます。

晴れた日には遠くから波音が聞こえ、雨の日でも、雨や風の音を心地よく感じる落ち着く空間です。

Washitsu (Japanese-style room)
Kuroshio-no-ie has two Japanese-style rooms with 6-tatami mats in size. You can partition off the room into two parts with fusuma (paper-covered sliding doors and partitions) or use it as one room. You will feel comfortable on the tatami floor and it helps you to relax. Time flies when you are relaxing on tatami.

~Feel at Home~
Kuroshio-no-ie is a wooden, single-storied house with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.
Every spacious room has a window and bright sunshine floods the rooms.
Up to ten people can use the room while maintaining their privacy.
On a clear day, you can hear the sound of waves in the distance, and even the sound of rain falling or wind blowing will make you feel relaxed.

歩いて5分の場所に美しい入野海岸があるからこそ、私たちは大家さんからの突然のラブコールを受け、引き継いで宿をやろうと思った一番の理由です。おつまみとワインを持って浜辺で夕陽を見ながら過ごす時間は最高です。

Rei Uehara (Okami : landlady) 

The “Donabe-gohan Otafuku” community manager.

Born and raised in Kochi, she came back here after she worked in the hospitality industry, such as dealing with ryokan and hotels outside Kochi for several years. She began to introduce the appeal of clay pot cooking thanks to an encounter with Nagatani-en, a famous pottery with a long history in Iga City, Mie Prefecture. She promotes food made from local ingredients with the motto, “Fun dining around the clay pot with friends and family!”
